Product Notes

Pink Floyd- an English rock band that achieved worldwide success with their progressive and psychedelic rock music, one of the most successful and influential rock music groups of all time. They have sold over 230 million albums worldwide, including 74.5 million certified units in the United States. And now, we bring you "Pink Floyd the Wall Movie"! This is a British live-action/animated musical film directed by Alan Parker based on the 1979 Pink Floyd album the Wall. The film is highly metaphorical and is rich in symbolic imagery and sound. It features very little dialogue and is mainly driven by the music of Pink Floyd. The film depicts the construction and ultimate demolition of a metaphorical wall; alienation. The film opened with a limited release on 6 August 1982 and entered at #28 of the US box office charts despite only playing in one theatre on it's first weekend, grossing over $68, 000, a rare feat even by today's standards. Hence if you are big fans of Pink Floyd or a Rock Music lover, you should never miss this movie!
