Product Notes

OUTATIME: Saving the DeLorean Time Machine DVD - The DeLorean Time Machine is the most famous movie car in the world. But after decades of harsh weather, souvenir hunters and wild animals - this cinema icon seemed destined for the junkyard. OUTATIME chronicles the efforts of Bob Gale (Co-Writer & Producer, Back to the Future trilogy), Universal Studios and a group of dedicated fans, as they work together to bring this cinema icon back to life! The DeLorean time machine is a fictional automobile-based time travel device featured in the Back to the Future franchise. In the feature film series, Dr. Emmett Brown builds a time machine based on a DeLorean DMC-12 car, to gain insights into history and the future. Instead, he ends up using it to travel over 130 years of Hill Valley history (from 1885 to 2015) with Marty McFly to change the past for the better and to undo the negative effects of time travel. One of the cars used in filming is on display at Universal Studios Hollywood. - Is this the real DeLorean Time Machine from "Back to the Future"? Yes! This is the screen used Hero "A" Car, that appeared in all three Back to the Future films. This is the same car that rolled of the back of Doc Brown's truck. Who restored the Time Machine? The vehicle was restored by Joe Walser (Head of the Restoration), Terry Matalas (Restoration Producer) and the Time Machine Restoration Team. Where is the Time Machine now? The Time Machine is now on permanent display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Virgil Films and Entertainment
