As created by J.D. Roth, the popular NBC reality series The Biggest Loser pits severely overweight contestants against one another to determine who can lose the most weight in a set period of time - with the inherent reward of a $250,000 prize. The Biggest Loser workout videos feature exercise routines employed on the series, that help at-home participants achieve the same fitness goals of fat burning and weight loss via increased strength and endurance. The Biggest Loser Workout: Cardio Max carries viewers/participants through a six-week regimen, with three cardio workouts rooted in progressive levels of difficulty, and hosted, respectively, by series regulars Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels and Kim Lyons. The program begins with a warm-up, then segues into a Level One 20-minute bootcamp, hosted by Harper and designed to initiate the premier stages of fat burning.
