The DVD Planet Frequent Buyers Club is the great new way to earn dollars against your DVD Planet orders! It's so simple: you earn one DVD Planet point per dollar spent, which you can apply against your DVD Planet order as follows:

To cash in your points, just select the number you would like applied at checkout. Be sure to click apply points or they will NOT be applied to the order. Your points earned will not expire; however, DVD Planet reserves the right to discontinue this program at any time. If we choose to discontinue the program, we will e-mail all customers with an account balance 30 days prior to discontinuance of the program. To check your points at any time, access the DVD Planet InfoCenter. Points are updated once a week on Thursday for the prior weeks shipments. Frequent buyers club points can only be redeemed up to blocks of 1000.

Shopping Cart

Shopping on DVDPlanet is very simple. We use the most common logic found online today. Simply click the button associated with any item you wish to purchase. This will put the item into your shopping cart. Anything that you place into your cart can be easily changed, removed or moved to your wish list by checking the appropriate box and clicking the "Update" button.

Pricing

We do our best to keep information as up-to-date as possible. But sometimes errors do occur. We reserve the right to refuse orders placed with erroneous pricing.

Payment Methods

DVDPlanet accepts PayPal, American Express, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover cards. If you are purchasing with a credit card for the first time it is our policy to contact the issuing bank to verify the billing information on the account so make sure that you submit the correct info. This security check occasionally causes a delay depending on the accessibility of your bank, but it is necessary to minimize fraud and protect our customers. You will be contacted if there are any problems. Until an account has been established with DVDPlanet we will only ship to the verifiable billing or work address.

Checking out

Once you have completed shopping and you wish to checkout you must click on your shopping cart to view and confirm the contents of your cart before beginning the checkout process. You will be given the ability to move items between your shopping cart and your wish list. If the cart is correct you must click the button to proceed to the next step. At the end you will be provided with a reference number and the ability to print a copy of your order for future reference. Orders placed after 10:30 AM Central Time will be processed the following business day. Non-USPS orders placed during the weekend will be processed for Monday shipping and all services are guaranteed from the time of shipment.


FAXing in an order 1-630-775-3355

Orders can be faxed in at any time. Please include all the info requested by our checkout process. Be sure to provide your credit card billing information in addition to your shipping info. Faxed orders are subject to the same rules as applies to online orders.


What is the wish list?

DVDPlanet offers a service called the Wish List. This is an area where you can maintain a list of items that you wish to purchase at some future date. You can see items currently in your Wish List in your shopping cart. Items can be moved between you shopping cart and wish list at your leisure. Consider it a convenient way to keep track of all the things you wish to add to your collection.


Pre-order policy for "Upcoming" items

If you pre-order a "Upcoming" item we will ship the item once it has been released by the home video company. Please be aware that the release dates for titles change, sometimes numerous times. We do our best to provide you with the most comprehensive and accurate information but there are times when that information is simply unknown. We will maintain all pre-orders as active and ship the item as soon as it has been released. You will not be billed for any item until it is shipped.


Backorders

DVDPlanet provides online stock status for all items we sell. The status represents our inventory level at the time you placed your order. From time to time an item may be "out of stock." When you order a title that is "out of stock" it is deemed to be a backorder. Our goal is to maintain significant inventory levels so that backorders do not occur but in the end we are human and it will happen. Items that are backordered, and shipped at a later date will be subject to additional shipping charges. You will not be billed for the item until it is shipped.


Canceling/changing an order

Once placed, your order cannot be changed or cancelled online. In order to make any changes to an existing order, please contact Customer Service via email at orders@dvdplanet.com, via telephone at 1-800-818-9693. As orders are continously being sent to the warehouse we are unable to guarantee cancellation at the time of your request. Shipping charges will not be refunded on returned orders which were unable to be cancelled.
