Sports Illustrated gathers the world's most beautiful supermodels and jets to exotic locations around the globe for the magazine's annual swimsuit celebration. Hosted by pro skateboarder Tony Hawk, the 2005 edition takes the form of an extreme sports adventure with scantily-clad beauties modelling the latest in fashion swimwear while river-rafting in Honduras, surfing in Costa Rica, playing elephant polo in Thailand, and snowboarding in Chile. This year's crop of models includes Marisa Miller, Bridget Hall, Petra Nemcova, Carolyn Murphy, Frankie Rayder, Shakara Ledard, Yamila Diaz-Rahi, Ana Beatriz-Barros, and Veronica Varekova, as well as guest appearances by Swimsuit Model Search winner Michelle Lombardo, THE REAL WORLD's Mallory Snyder, and Olympic athletes Jennie Finch and Amanda Beard.
